The long-rumored Meizu Watch has teased to launch on May 31 in the home country. It will be the next smartwatch to adopt a superfast Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset to power up the watch. The Meizu Watch is one of the few watches that run on this chipset. Before that Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3, LTE was the only Wear OS watch to use the SoC. The teaser shows the smartwatch will come with a square display, and there will be exclusive watch faces to match the royalty.
The Meizu Watch will run on its Flyme for Watch interface on the board. We have to review the interface when the watch will hit the global market. It would be nice to compare Flyme for Watch UI with the Tizen OS, Fitbit OS, Wear OS, and Apple’s WatchOS platforms. This Wear 4100 powered watch will capable to receive and answer calls from the watch. It will support eSIM functionality to make a call and answer it. The calling function reveals the watch has a microphone and speaker on the Meizu Watch.
It will bring a square casing with a rounded corner and a silicone strap. The other information may come ahead of the launch date. In the essential functions, users will get HR tracking, sleep quality tracking, SpO2, stress & breathing, and women’s health tool. There will be enough workout modes to perform in daily workouts. Meizu will announce its smartwatch on May 31. The event has been held in China, and it will also the first country to get its hands on it.
