In the new month, Xiaomi has released another software update for its Mi band 4 tracker. The world’s most selling fitness tracker is now upgrading to the V184.108.40.206 firmware version. Don’t get your hope high. It is only an improvement update that the Mi Band receives every month. It is now more than six months since the fitness band has gained a future packed update. The Mi band 3 has wholly stopped getting any new update, even the improvements firmware. And now, Mi Band 4 is following the same path.
As some users claimed, the band has fixed battery-related issues that they have after the last update, that is, V220.127.116.11. In India, not single users have reported the problems with the short battery life, but it looks like some global users had faced it. The good part is they are now getting good battery life. Other users on the forum say the Music Control feature is far more responsive than ever. Again, it may be a problem with a few users.
The new version is rolling out slowly in some countries, and India is one of them. When your device gets the update, then your Mi band 4 will automatically upgrade to the newer version, and there is no way to downgrade it. To check your latest firmware version, go to the Mi Fit app & then Profile. Here tap on Profile and click on Settings, where you will see Check for updates. My Band 4 has not got a new version yet. I will inform you if there is any new function.
