The Mi band 5 launched on June 11 and went on sale from June 18 in China. As per the report coming from China, Mi band 5 witnessed huge popularity as the product sold out in a minute. It had also happened with Mi Band 4 when Xiaomi had shipped 10 million units in the first four weeks. Now, the Mi band 5 is ready to launch in the overseas market. The recent BIS certification site has revealed the smart band is near to launch in India. It has cleared BIS certification in the country, which is necessary to launch any product.
The model number XMHS10HM has spotted on the BIS database. It might be the non-NFC version that may be priced at somewhere Rs. 2,499 in the country. We are also hoping for the NFC version in the other region as the company has launched Mi Band 4 NFC in Russia. As looking at the specs, Mi Band 5 is the most advanced Xiaomi band so far. It gives a bigger 1.1-inch screen, 5 new sports modes, over 100 animated watch faces, and remote camera shutter functions. It also offers custom DND & world clock facilities to the customers.
In other changes, the Mi Band 5 has women health tools, PAI function, 20 days battery life, magnetic charging, and sleep tracking with REM feature. Xiaomi might launch Mi Band 5 in India in August or September. The Mi Band 3 & Band 4 was launched in September in the country so there are high chances we could get it in September.
