The last year’s best selling fitness tracker Mi band 4 is now available in Europe with an NFC chip. At the launching, the NFC version of Mi Band 4 was only available in China, and later it landed in Russia. Now, Mi Smart Band 4 NFC is available to purchase in Ukraine & Belarus, and users can make payments with it. The Mastercard cardholders with supported bank accounts can make contactless transactions at many places. Xiaomi has collaborated with Mastercard in the both Belarus & Ukraine and also gives some offers.
In Ukraine, the smart band supports with A-Bank, Alfa-Bank Ukraine, Bank Vostok, Oschad Bank, Privat Bank, FUIB, UKRGAS BANK, CONCORD BANK, Monobank, and UKRSIBBANK. In Belarus, the Mastercard cardholders of BSB Bank, MTS bank, Priorbank, BTB Bank, and 7 more banks will be supported. It is easy to use Mi Smart Band 4 to make a payment. To set a Mastercard, open the Mi Fit app, and go to the Bank Card option. In this menu, fill up all the details of your Mastercard. Lastly, confirm the authorization via SMS.
Xiaomi is somehow late to launch the NFC version in other countries when there is Mi Smart Band 5 is already available in the market. It would have been better if Xiaomi has launched Mi Smart Band 5 NFC outside China. I think in the coming months, we can see the NFC version on Mi Smart Band 4 to make a presence in other Europian countries. Note that, it is not the update. To use the NFC function in both countries, you have to purchase a new NFC model.
