Mi Band 5 has finally launched in Europe with the name Mi Smart Band 5 global version. Though some lucky customers have received the units from selected online retailers, it is the official launch. Mi Smart Band 5 is still missing the NFC version that we always saw on the Chinese version, but opted-out from the international model. Recently, Xiaomi has introduced the NFC version of Mi Smart Band 4 in Russia, so in the coming months, we could see the NFC version. There is also chatter that the Mi Smart Band 5 Pro will get the NFC function.
