The new NFC version of Mi Smart Band 6 has been launched in the European region. The NFC variant was launched in March but is only limited to the home country. To date, only non-NFC versions had been launching outside China, but this year Xiaomi launched in other countries. With the function, users can make a contactless payments in their city. Also, it allows them to pay at malls, stores, subways, and other public transports if the company accepts NFC cards.
The voice assistant service Amazon Alexa is also part of Mi Smart Band 6 NFC. It was also limited to the Chinese version and now comes to the global version. By using microphone, Amazon Alexa makes it easy to give a command to the fitness tracker. You can start workout modes, set alarms, give replies, or open functions. The smart band doesn’t have an internet connection, so the commands here are limited. The SpO2 blood oxygen monitoring is available on the activity tracker and it is part of both variants.
There is no other change between both NFC & non-NFC models. It offers a 1.56-inch display with smart notification and 30 workout modes. In health, you can get PAI, sleep tracking with REM, stress & breathing, and continuous heart rate features. In the other feature, it gives 14 days of battery, night mode function, and various straps. The NFC version of Mi band 4 was available in Russia & Ukraine, now the Mi Smart Band 6 would launch in all the major countries.
