Moto Watch 100 Launches with Moto OS, Leaves Wear OS

In the twist of the series, Moto has launched a new Moto Watch 100 smartwatch with Moto OS. If we go with the previous watches, then the new watch is supposed to carry the Wear OS platform, but suddenly come with native OS. It could hurt the users who were waiting for this budget-friendly smartwatch in the hope to get Wear OS at a reasonable price. With this software, the device manages to run for two weeks on a single charge. It could be the biggest reason to choose home-grown OS over Wear OS that fails to run for this long.

It offers a 1.3” circular LCD screen in a 42mm casing with a 20mm strap. It comes with only a 42mm case size, and there is no other option available. For fitness enthusiasts, the Moto Watch 100 is loaded with 26 activities and some of them support automatic detection methods. Other essential heart rate measurements, sleep tracking, SpO2, and other sensors are available on the watch. For outdoor activities, you can use GPS, GLONASS & BeiDou, and the Bluetooth 5.0 technologies.
