Movado has launched its second-generation Connect 2.0 smartwatch with the upgraded features. The smartwatch runs on Wear OS and has built-in heart rate monitor & GPS features. It is the next watch to the Movado’s Connect which was launched in 2017. The smartwatch has now upgraded with unisex design and 2 size options – 40mm & 42mm. The Movado Connect 2.0 offers every feature that you need in the smartwatch.
The 1GB RAM is the first upgrade you will notice here when you realize most of premium smartwatches come with less than a gig of RAM & the 16MB & 32MB RAM on Huawei Watch GT 2 models need to mention.
It is not only the RAM but the smartwatch has 8GB of internal storage that you can use to store offline music or other activities. The smartwatch may not be that smart to use all the 1GB RAM & 8GB storage space still the company wants to have it.
It includes Always-on AMOLED display, NFC, customizable dials, rotating crowns, GPS & heart rate sensors. It is Wear OS smartwatch, so you will get Google Assistant, Google Pay & Google Fit apps pre-installed.
The Movado Connect 2.0 promises 2-4 days battery life. It is an Android-based watch where you can’t expect more extended battery like Fitbit Versa 2 & Amazfit Stratos 3 offers to their users.
Both versions come up with various straps & Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100 power up it. In the US, the price starts from $495 and goes to $795, expensive than other smartwatches but cheaper than the previous Connect. The Movado Connect 2.0 will goes on sale from next month in the selected countries.
