New Firmware for Honor Band 5 Fixes SpO2 & Notification Issues

In the previous update, Honor Band 5 received many issues with the core features. It almost broke notifications & SpO2 functions, which are the essential features of the fitness tracker. Today, to fix the problems that came up with the older version are now fixing in the newer firmware version. Honor has released 1.1.0.150 firmware for the global variant of Honor Band 5 to squash all those known problems. As per the changelog, it doesn’t bring any new functionality to the fitness tracker but optimization to the existing ones.

As many users reported, the SpO2 function had the most impact after the installation of the last version. After seeding the 0.150 release, the blood oxygen saturation or SpO2 is more stable and gives accurate results. It also works fast when you wear it on your wrist to check your blood level. The notifications will now alert you about your incoming social media messages. Before it, most users were unable to receive them though some users mention all the incoming text shows with the same icon. That could create some confusion to find out from which app you have received a message.
