New Gboard Update Gets Enhanced Text inputs & Multi-Language Support

With the new update for the Gboard app, Google has somehow tried to solve the main issue of Wear OS users. All the smartwatches these days lack one good keyboard app. From Apple to Samsung and Garmin to Fitbit, all failed to release a perfect QWERTY keypad app. Now, in the new app version, Google has enhanced the capabilities of the Wear OS keyboard. The app will now let users type it better with the QWERTY format. Also, users can type it better with the gesture, if they know how to do it.

Voice typing has also been improved in the new app version. On the tiny display, it is sometimes difficult to write bigger texts. Also, you will see enhanced auto-corrections and suggestions. The added ‘Previous screen’ option will let you see an entire typed message before sending it. This way, you can make a quick edit to the message and later send it. Multi-language support has been added to the Gboard app. Users apart from the English language can switch to other languages. Right now, it is unknown how many languages have been added to the app.

The new look of the app is what you are looking for. The background color is black, and the letters are white. The long-press of the space bar will let you change languages. You can update the Gboard app from the Play Store. It is not the major change that came to Wear OS. Google has announced there will be major features for the Wear OS in the I/O Google event. In the June event, Google can unveil major functions for the smartwatches.
