New Software Update For Gear S2 Rolled Out In Europe

Last week, Samsung had released new firmware update for Gear S2 in Russia, Serbia and South Korea. Now this is time for Europe to get new update. Samsung now rolled out new software update in Europe for Gear S2 smartwatch. The new update has some missing features which wasn’t integrated in previous firmware and now has on this one. The first and most missing feature combined here is Flight Mode, one of the useful feature on any device, either it is smartphone, tablet or smartwatch. With the help of Flight Mode function S2 users can able to turn off all wireless networks so they could stay out of disturbance.

The new bunch of watch faces included into local storage so user can change look of watch as per their personality. Previously, users had to download watch faces from online, but now it might change with some percentage. Still if you want you can download many types of faces online from the Samsung Gear Manager app.


The other main feature is adaptive brightness where your smartwatch will adjust screen as per the surrounding environment. The overall performance and battery life has increased in new update and also developers had fixed small bugs. With the overall performance apps and games on Gear S2 will perform better.

The firmware version is R732XXU2CPB7 and the software is 83.24MB in size. Now all European countries are eligible to download new version, those countries are UK, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Netherland and many more.
