Since the launching of Amazfit GTR & GTS, every update that comes to these watches has brought some new features. The new version at the end of October has also carried one more function to them. The Amazfit GTR, Amazfit GTS & Amazfit GTR Lite are now getting REM Sleep to provide advanced sleep measurement. The Amazfit GTR 47mm receives firmware version 126.96.36.199, GTR 42mm gets 1.2.06, Amazfit GTS receives 0.1.1.19 and the GTR Lite updated to 1.0.2.06 version.
The REM or Rapid Eye Movement is also one of the essential stages in a total of 4 stages of your sleep. Huami has already introduced this function on the Amazfit Zepp E, GTR 2, GTS 2, Band 6 & Mi Smart Band 5 wearables. To activate the REM, open the Zepp app and go to Heart rate detection. In this option, enable sleep detection under the Heart rate settings > Detection method. To see all your sleep data, you can open Zepp (formally Amazfit) app and head to the Sleep score on the main page.
Apart from that, the latest firmware improves GPS positioning to get accurate tracking in your exercise. The GPS issue is always been there and in each update, Huami tries to enhance it.
The company has launched next-gen Amazfit GTR 2 & GTS 2 watches in the market, though the company didn’t forget to release vital updates to its older smartwatches. To install new firmware on your smartwatch, update the Zepp app to the newest version. The update is now rolling out in Malaysia, Thailand & Vietnam, and soon it will enter the other regions.
