Last week OnePlus had come up with an update for its OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro of OxygenOS Open Beta 4 version. This week then have come up with a software update of (OxygenOS 220.127.116.11). The company takes pride in its updates and says each update brings a better user experience with it and is the best in the market. This recent update is an Android security patch for November 2020 for both of the latest smartphones.
The update will enhance the split-screen experience and also fixes many previous bugs. It will start rolling out for countries like India, Europe, and North America, but the update will be for a small number of users currently. OnePlus will be expanding in the coming days. The update for the OnePlus 8 will have firmware version 18.104.22.168.IN21DA in India and 22.214.171.124.IN11DA for its Pro version.
The update will look into the following things that will include better system power consumption, improved battery life with optimum use. Also, users facing issue with expanded screenshot has fixed and flashing of the screen while using the fingerprint lock is also fixed now. Communications functions are now updated, and the issue with the network concerning few apps has been fixed and enhanced. Clearing of cache after uninstalling the app that wasn’t working previously is looked into.
For users who were experiencing problems with NFC connection not turning on or play store crashing and not being able to install apps is also taken care of. For others facing issues with the fan of the Warp Charge 30, Wireless Charger was not working even the parallel apps not working properly are all considered in this update. You can expect an update within a week or check your system update notification in the Settings panel.
