OnePlus 8 & OnePlus 8 Pro Will Hit in India on May 29

OnePlus has announced the launching of it’s next generation smartphone series which includes OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro in India. The series made its debut in last month and now OnePlus is going to make its officially available in the Indian market from 29th May. Earlier the announcement of the OnePlus series in India had postponed due to COVID 19 pandemic. According to the latest report, the official sale of these devices in India will take place from 29th May through Amazon and select retail stores as well as on OnePlus website.

OnePlus 8 comes with a 6.5 inches full HD and Fluid AMOLED display along with 90Hz refresh rate capability. Whereas OnePlus 8 Pro features a 6.78 inches QHD and Fluid AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Both these smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Octa-core processor and offers two internal storage variants of 128GB and 256GB. On the battery aspects, OnePlus powered by non-removable Li-Po 4300mAh battery and OnePlus 8 Pro has fuelled by Li-Po 4510mAh battery, both these smartphones comes Warp Charge 30T support for faster charging.

OnePlus 8 Pro in India

The main difference between the two flagships is OnePlus 8 Pro features Warp Charge 30 wireless support and the reverse wireless charging facility, while OnePlus 8 lack this features. OnePlus 8 sports a 48MP+16MP+2MP incredible triple camera setup on the rear side and 16MP single selfie camera. While the Pro model features 48MP+8MP+48MP+5MP superior quality quad camera setup as the main camera and 16MP single selfie camera.

Both of these models are priced on their specs where OnePlus 8 with 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage costs Rs.41,999, 8GB/128GB costs Rs.44,999 and 12GB/256GB model will be available for Rs.49,999. Whereas the two variants of OnePlus 8 Pro model with 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB will cost Rs.54,999 and Rs.59,999 respectively. OnePlus amis to compete with its rivals like Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S10 and iPhone 11 series in this flagship device segment and introduce smartphones with innovative technology. Like the Apple’s upcoming iPhone 12 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy Note 20+, OnePlus 8 Pro also features a 120Hz refresh rate capability.
