According to the new source, OnePlus Nord N100 has a 90Hz display option instead of 60Hz as it was marketed earlier. OnePlus has been ruling the market with its budget phones and amazing features, they usually go for 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rates. The phone had launched last month with OnePlus Nord N10 5G that also had 90Hz refresh rate, leaving the customers confused as to why the latter has a lower refresh rate.
Comparing it with Oppo A53 and A53s that was nearly the same also had a 90Hz refresh rate. According to a website, the OnePlus Nord N100 in the UK had the option of a 90Hz panel but its default was to 60Hz.
The company later stated that the N100 equipped with a 90Hz display, and it depends on the settings, applications used, and processing limitations of the individual user. It is unclear as to why the 90Hz is an option instead of the first choice.
The phone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC, Adreno 610 GPU, OxygenOS 12, with 4GB of RAM. We believe it could be because it may not work as smoothly throughout with all apps and might even cause quick battery drainage. Expected to be priced at Rs 17300 in India and will be available in Midnight Frost colour.
