At the end of April, Polar launched the Grit X smartwatch with some advanced functions. The GPS based watch also came with a heavy price tag. Now, the Polar has launched a new budget-friendly Unite smartwatch. The Polar Unite gives all the basic features for the daily activities with connected GPS & other sensors. Where the Grit X priced at 429 euros, the Polar Unite has 149 euros price tag. The price is lower than the other Polar watches, so the users have to compromise with some functions. first, you can’t use Route planning with the Komoot feature.
It doesn’t come with built-in GPS, you have to connect the watch with a smartphone to use it. The smartwatch offers 4 days of battery life in a single charge and 20 hours in GPS mode. It supports 100 workout modes in indoor & outdoor activities to stay fit & healthy. It is a good move by Polar to offer such a massive number of sports modes to fitness-centric users. In fitness, there are three main functions, FitSpark, Sleep Stages, and Nightly Recharge. There is also a Smart notification to get all the app notifications, emails & text messages, so you don’t miss anything.
Apart from it, the Polar Unite offers continuous heart rate, sleep tracking, smart calories, running program, and Serene Breathing exercise functions. The smartwatch is available in Pink, White, Blue & Black color options. In the strap choices, there are Silicone, Textile, and Leather options for the same price. The Polar Unite is cheaper than Polar Grit X & Polar Ignite, and available to purchase on the official website.
