Puma Introduced its First Wear OS Smartwatch

Puma has introduced its first Wear OS smartwatch at IFA 2019, the watch packs various fitness features onboard. You can call it ‘Puma Smartwatch’ when it enters the market. Last year Puma made an agreement with Fossil Group to produce smartwatches. The watch will sport some high-end features as well as various incredible fitness features to track your exercise. Like various other wearables, the watch runs on Google’s Wear OS and offers a similar interface and features.

The watch sports Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor which is the latest version of the chipset. It enhances the efficiency of smartwatch performance as well as improves battery life. Puma assures 24 hours battery life which is no longer enough for the various activity tracking. Puma’s very first smartwatch offers 4GB internal storage coupled with 512MB RAM. Obviously, it has less internal storage like older generation watches, the company will offer more In its upcoming models.

Puma Smartwatch Runs Android’s Wear OS

Puma SmartwatchThe sports giant’s smartwatch will feature 1.19 inches, 328PPI AMOLED display which is embedded in a textured silicone 16mm strap. It is available in three color variants of neon yellow, black and rose gold. You can use the watch for swimming also, it is waterproof up to 30 meters.

As the watch runs on Wear OS, it features some additional features like Google Assistant, Google Pay for contactless payments, integrated Spotify and several other. You can also use Google Fit to track your activities and exercise.

The smartwatch has an inbuilt GPS that tracks all the workouts and the watch comes with an integrated heart rate sensor and motion sensor. It also comes with step tracking, weather updates, and several training apps. The Puma watch will available from November 2019 and it costs $275, we should hopefully wait until November to get this smartwatch on the wrist.
