Realme is upping to launch its next smartwatch and its existence has appeared in the Q&A session of Realme India’s CEO. There is little information about when the watch will be launched officially and what features will it have. Various rumors and leakers share the features and information about the upcoming Realme smartwatch. Though leaks reveal features coming with the watch, things could change with the time until the launch. But more or less Realme’s upcoming wearable device will include them.
It appears that the Realme watch will hit the square display with rounded corners surrounded by a thick bezel. Also, it accommodates a physical press button at the right edge of the device. This button helps to lock and unlock the device and in navigation functions like coming back to the home screen. Apparently it seems that the watch doesn’t support band charge functionality. On the part of the charging facility, it is highly likely that the watch comes with a magnetic charger. Realme watch predicted to have five pre-loaded watch faces. Users can further download extra watch faces from companion apps.
Realme watch will host a 1.4 inches TFT LCD touchscreen display with 320×320 resolution capacity. The most important change is that the watch will run on Proprietary OS instead of Android’s Wear OS. It will come with Bluetooth 5.0 to pair the watch with the phone. But the watch misses GPS as it will not have onboard GPS connectivity. The device will power with 160mAh battery which may last long for 7 days with 24-hour heart rate monitoring feature. Along with a heart rate sensor, the watch also includes an acceleration sensor and a blood oxygen sensor.
Upcoming Realme smartwatch will be compatible to track 15 different kinds of outdoor and indoor exercise activities including running, walking, and swimming. Also, the activity log on the UI shows your sleep data, heart rate data, step counting, and weather data. The watch helps users to meditate with controlled slow breathing exercises. As Realme is targeting the Indian market, it enabled the watch with Hindi language support. Yet there is no clarity about fix launching schedule and price range, but it will be in a similar range of Amazfit Bip. All the curious customers should wait for the product until the company officially announces its launching date.
