Redmi Watch 2 has GPS, 117 Sports Modes & 12 days Battery

The Redmi Watch 2 is now officially unveiled in China with no surprising features. Yes, it has advanced than the predecessor watch, but not compared to 2021’s top-notch smartwatches. To make it larger, Redmi has increased screen size to 1.64-inch from 1.4-inch without touching actual dimensions. The less bezel helped the watch to go with extra space, and fonts get bigger. The screen now is AMOLED rather than IPS, and the display resolution is 320 x 360 pixels. It has a polycarbonate build, swims proof ratings, and 31g weight with strap.

The person who gets up in the morning for his different activities will find this watch helpful with its 117 workout modes. Xiaomi has packed almost all the activities on the Watch 2, and some of them offer an auto-detect function. GPS technology will help you to track routes and accurate positioning.

You will find more than 100 watch faces on the RTOS platform along with custom dials. It doesn’t have a separate app store, so you can’t get any further app assistant. Actually, it is hard to call a true smartwatch like its sibling Amazfit GTR 3 Pro.

Further, it includes an optical heart rate sensor, SpO2, stress, sleep, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and women health tool. It is powered with a 225mAh battery, and claims 12 days endurance in normal use, 7 days in heavy use, and 18 hours with GNSS activity tracking.

It offers Elegant Black, Space Blue, and Ivory White color options. In China, it is available for $62, and the sale will start from November 1st with an introductory price of $55. The Redmi Watch 2 will soon launch in other regions.
