This month many users have witnessed revamped or newly designed Play Store for Wear OS in many leaks. Some Reddit users have also shared new Play Store designs in the posts. Now, it has become official, and Google has today announced revamped Material You design. The redesign takes all the space in mind to show better results. Apart from changed font and design, it also gets new color formats. In the Material You design, it will show important information on the main screen to choose the apps or make selections.
The cards in the shape of a container have light grey colors instead of white text in black background, which is present in the current version. It is now easy to sideload any apps on your smartwatch from the Plays Store. A user needs to active Bluetooth connection to install apps from the phone’s Play Store account. It can also allow users to purchase or make payments for any in-app purchases. The link will generate on the Wear OS smartwatch, and it will redirect users to the phone’s browser, where users can complete the order.
The Play Store on the smartphone will get a separate section for Wear OS apps and watch faces. It will make it easier for both developers & end-users to access any watch faces. The update will roll out on selected Wear OS smartwatches in the next few weeks. The upcoming Galaxy Watch 4 & Galaxy Watch 4 Classic could be the first in line to receive it in their next Galaxy Unpacked event.
