The OIS or optical image stabilization is a feature we quite see on flagship smartphones. The feature helps photographers to get better protection for sensors against bumps and wobbles when taking images. The entire Galaxy S series, Galaxy Z series & Galaxy Note series have an OIS function in the camera sensor. As per the news source, it could change from next year. Samsung is planning to push the OIS flagship function to the upcoming Galaxy A series smartphones. The entire mid-range phone doesn’t have this function and next year all they might have.
It is true to make fair competition with other smartphones like OnePlus Nord 2, Samsung should launch it. Though mid-range devices may receive it, there will be a hike in the price tag. We could assume Galaxy A32, Galaxy A52 & Galaxy A72 devices may get the function. If we are looking at their specifications, then these are the best Galaxy A Series devices out there. Most probably, next year’s smartphones Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53 & Galaxy A73 will come with OIS function. The Galaxy A82 & Galaxy A90 5G may also come with it if we look to their price range.
Samsung launches Galaxy A lineup in between flagship models. The Galaxy A32 was launched in February, so the next Galaxy A33 could launch next February. The Galaxy S22 will be introduced in January 2022, and after that, we might see the next-gen Galaxy A model.
