Samsung Galaxy A Series Android security Updates

Samsung’s two most selling Galaxy A series smartphones have now upgraded to October 1st Android security patches. The Galaxy A50 & Galaxy A30 is now receiving new software to fix minor bugs and to improve overall quality. The Galaxy A50 upgraded with firmware version A505FNXXU2SJ1 and currently rolling out in Ukraine, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan & some European countries. The last major A50 version had released in India that fixed call & network issues. The new update just carries Google’s security patch with it.

Monthly Android security updates

Galaxy A30 is next A series smartphone that has upgraded to newer version. In the last software, it has fixed charging port issue and enhanced that battery charging time. In the new upgrade, Galaxy A30 promoted to October 1st security patch. The new firmware A305GTVJU2ASI3 is hitting in the Brazil & Peru and soon it comes to other countries. Note that these two countries carry model number SM-A305GT so it carries different changelog than the rest.

Galaxy A series update

To update latest firmware on your Galaxy A30 or Galaxy A50 devices, go to Settings – Software update & then Download & install. In most of the countries Galaxy A50 has skipped with the September security patch, but South Korea is the only country where it had dispatched. Now Galaxy A50 users can upgrade to October 1st patch.
