Samsung Galaxy A Series Android security Updates

Update (Nov 27): Samsung has again proved Galaxy A50 is the company’s most favorite smartphone. To prove that, Samsung is pushing the newest software version on this mid-range device. Every month, Samsung Galaxy A50 receives two major updates and this month also witnessed the same craze. Now before any other premium smartphones or mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A50 is getting a December security patch. The firmware number A505FDDU3ASKA is available in Israel and soon come to other countries. As the December security patch has started, real soon all other Galaxy A series smartphones gets it.

Update (Nov 25): The new piece of code for Galaxy A30 has come to India that improves the face unlock function. The software version A30FDDU3ASK3 has pushed in India that counts 167 MB in size. It will carry the same November security patch on the smartphone, and we think the next version will come with December’s Android security patch. The version A805FXXS3ASK3 is now coming to Galaxy A80 smartphone with nothing but security update. It is now available in more countries and should check it manually from the smartphone settings.

Update Nov 11: Last month, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10 series devices recently faced a fingerprint recognition issue that let any users unlock the phone. Later, Samsung released a new update to solve the problem on both premium smartphones. Now, Samsung is dispatching a fingerprint recognition update on the Galaxy A50 smartphone. The Galaxy A50 is the first mid-range as well as the first Galaxy A series smartphone to get the latest security version. The newest firmware version A505FDDS3ASK5 is 135 MB in size and comes with a November security patch.

Update Nov 4: Samsung’s one of the most selling smartphones in the budget market, Galaxy A50 is now upgrading to the latest security patch. The user’s in Europe & the US is getting a November security patch before any other Galaxy A series of smartphones. The US users get firmware number A505U1UES3ASJ3 and European customers are getting A505FNXXS2ASK1 firmware number. This is a security update and we haven’t noticed any changes to existing functions.

Android October security patch

Update (Nov 2): Galaxy A20 & Galaxy A8+ are the new devices to join the October Android security patches. Both smartphones in India are now upgrading to the latest version with more protection. The firmware number starts with A205FXXU3ASJ2 is coming for Galaxy A20 & the firmware number A730FXXU6CSJ2 is coming for Galaxy A8+. To install a new version go to Settings on your mobile and check it manually.

Update (Oct. 24): The Galaxy A50 & Galaxy A80 are now receiving latest Google security patch in Algeria, Vietnam & Malaysia. The firmware version A505FDDU2ASJ2 with October security is patching on Galaxy A50 & the version A805FXXU2ASI5 on Galaxy A80 smartphone, sadly it gets September security patch. The A50 software improves the overall stability of functions with enhanced security patches, where Galaxy A80 improves touchscreen and fingerprint performance as well as stabilizes the camera app.

Galaxy A series update

Update (Oct. 22): As the report we received, now Samsung’s two main smartphones – Galaxy A30 & Galaxy A20 are getting security updates. The firmware version A305FDDU2ASJ2 for Galaxy A30 comes with October security patch that weighs 428MB in size. The software is currently available in India. The Galaxy A20 has A205FXXU2ASJ1 firmware number with October security patch. It is also getting the latest version in India & it is 281MB in size. There is no other change in the update. We will inform you if we found any changes to these devices.

Original Story (Oct 1st): Samsung’s two most selling Galaxy A series smartphones have now upgraded to October 1st Android security patches. The Galaxy A50 & Galaxy A30 is now receiving new software to fix minor bugs and to improve overall quality. The Galaxy A50 upgraded with firmware version A505FNXXU2SJ1 and currently rolling out in Ukraine, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan & some European countries. The last major A50 version had released in India that fixed call & network issues. The new update just carries Google’s security patch with it.

Monthly Android security updates

Galaxy A30 is the next A-series smartphone that has upgraded to newer version. In the last software, it has a fixed charging port issue and enhanced that battery charging time. In the new upgrade, Galaxy A30 promoted to October 1st security patch. The new firmware A305GTVJU2ASI3 is hitting in the Brazil & Peru and soon it comes to other countries. Note that these two countries carry model number SM-A305GT so it carries different changelog than the rest.

To update the latest firmware on your Galaxy A30 or Galaxy A50 devices, go to Settings – Software update & then Download & install. In most of the countries Galaxy A50 has skipped with the September security patch, but South Korea is the only country where it had dispatched. Now Galaxy A50 users can upgrade to October 1st patch.
