Samsung recently launched its new low-end smartphone Galaxy J2 Core in India. This is Samsung’s first Android Go smartphone running on Android 8.1 Oreo edition. This smartphone is now available in Indian market for Rs.6,000. Customers can buy this phone from Samsung’s online store and various retailers from across the country. The device is available in Black, Blue and Gold colors for the customers and it has some preloaded features like Ultra Power saving and optimised Data Control.
Galaxy J2 Core has 5.0 inches quality HD display protected with Corning Gorilla glass and has Exynos 7570 quad-core 1.4GHz Cortex A53 processor with Mali-T720 GPU. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) and has 8GB internal storage capacity and 1GB RAM with external memory expandable up to 256GB. It has 8MP main camera and 5MP selfie camera and it also includes beauty mode for the better selfies. The phone is fuelled with 2600mAh removable LI-Ion battery. The handset has 4G VoLTE connectivity along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The handset neither has fingerprint sensor to unlock phone quickly by using finger nor the face unlock facility.
The Galaxy J2 Core runs on Android Go edition which helps users to install various Android apps and games from the Play Store. Compared to other devices of this range smartphones like Lava Z61 and Samsung’s other low-end smartphones, Galaxy J2 Core provides a better option for customers with Android features.
