Samsung is all set to launch its Galaxy M40 smartphone in India on 11th June. Before its official launch, several leaks from the sources reveal the features that are packed with the smartphone. Galaxy M40 is the successor device in Samsung’s successful Galaxy M series and it comes with several latest features. Earlier we have seen some hints about what features are being packed with it, but the recent leaks make the picture clear about the features of the device.
According to leaks, the smartphone will be packed with Infinity O display and it becomes the first device in the series to have such display. Sources from Twitter mentions that the device will be shipped with a 3500mAh battery, earlier it was rumored that it will be fuelled by a 5000mAh battery. These leaks also confirm other aspects of the device including a display that Galaxy M40 will have a 6.3 inches display with high-resolution support of 2340×1080 pixels.
Previous models in the M series runs on Android 8.1 Oreo but Galaxy M40 will come with the latest version Android 9.0 Pie. This is the major upgrade which makes the device more compatible than its predecessors. Also, it has been packed with Samsung’s latest One UI which offers an overhauled user interface with the latest features.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and it is available in only one internal storage model of 128GB with a 6GB RAM option. On the camera aspect of the smartphone, it is said to be packed with a triple camera setup where the primary lens consists of 32 megapixels. Whereas of the other two lenses, one is the 8MP ultra wide lens and 5MP depth sensor.
Also, it is confirmed that the device has to get rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack as well as it has USB type C fast charging support. In India, the device is predicted to be launched with a price of around Rs.20000 which is in the range of other smartphones in the series. Like the other three devices, this will also be available exclusively on Amazon for sale in India along with Samsung’s online stores.
