Samsung announces the launch of its mid-range smartphone, Galaxy A71 5G to the US market. It will become the cheapest 5G smartphone in the US market. Further, it is the first 5G capable mid-range smartphone which is powered with Snapdragon 765G to arrive in the US. The device costs $599 and thereby undercutting the prevalent cheapest device OnePlus 8 by the difference of $100. OnePlus 8 is the existing cheapest 5G supported phone in the US which is available for $699.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G offers various top-end features in an affordable price range. Whereas the global version of the series feature Exynos 980 processor, the US variant of the device will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. Accordingly, all the major carriers in the US like T-Mobile, Sprint, and Samsung website will start the sale of devices starting from 19th June. Galaxy A71 5G will be available through these carriers at the retail price of $599.

According to further information, the unlocked variants and the other carriers like Verizon will start the sale later. Samsung Galaxy A71 5G comes with 6.7 inches Super AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution capacity. Under the hood, it has 128GB internal storage and comes with 6GB/8GB RAM variants. The device features a quad-camera setup on the rear side as the 12MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP depth camera, 5MP macro camera, and the 64MP main camera.
The device carriers the 32MP selfie camera. Galaxy A71 5G is fuelled with a 4500mAh battery and fast charging support of 25W. This smartphone is Samsung’s top-level model in the A-series and offers the various top-end features, one of the most important is the 5G support. As of now, customers can get this version through the above-mentioned carriers. For the unlocked variant, customers have to wait for a further announcement, probably it will be available from the summer.
