To upgrade the security layer of its smartphones, and to protect the privacy of users, Samsung has today released new update in India. The update called ‘Alt Z Life’ is now rolling out in India for the Galaxy A51 & Galaxy A71 smartphones. Two days ago, Samsung has teased about this update on its official Twitter account, but that time no one knows what the Alt Z Life is all about. Now, the latest firmware version reveals the changes that will come to the devices. After the release, Galaxy A51 & Galaxy A71 users can now switch between Private & Public modes while using apps like WhatsApp, Gallery, Camera, Facebook, Instagram & many others. To switch from public to private or vice versa, users need to quick double click on the side key.
Also, in the new update, Samsung has introduced secure folder, so users could hide their private apps, files, images or videos from the others. Till then, most of the users were using third party apps to hide such content or apps, but now Samsung has officially introduced it. Even, the Samsung’s new AI will automatically detect & will recommend you to hide sensitive data from public eye. Further, in the messaging app useful cards will be displayed & organized financial transactions by your bank, credit cards, debit cards & wallet services.
The new Gallery Zoom will now allow you to see details in better quality when you pinch zoom on the picture. It is good that with the new firmware, Samsung promises extra layer of protection. The new update is now available to download in India for Galaxy A51 & Galaxy A71. The firmware version A515FXXU3BTGF is releasing on Galaxy A51 and the firmware A715FXXU2ATGK is available for Galaxy A71. Sadly, both devices get June Android security patch with the software, when the other devices are getting August security patch. This update may release in other countries in the coming days or weeks, but right now there is no confirmation on yet.
