Samsung Starts Developing Galaxy S22 Series Firmware

Earlier, the model numbers have been spotted for the upcoming Galaxy S22 series. Now, Samsung has begun developing firmware for these upcoming flagship devices. This year, Samsung has added one more variant for Asia & Africa (excluding South Korea) with the model number SM-S90*E. For South Korea, Samsung may launch Exynos 2200-powered SM-S90*N models. Further, the firmware for these variants has been spotted, which indicates Samsung testing software part of them.

As per our discovery, we have found Samsung is developing firmware version S901EXXU0AUK6, S906EXXU0AUK6 & S908EXXU0AUK6 for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ & Galaxy S22 Ultra, respectively. These firmwares buildups are for Asia & Africa regions. In South Korea, the company is working on firmware S901NKOU0AUK2, S906NKOU0AUK2 & S908NKOU0AUK2 for these devices. It hints Samsung is testing apps & services on the phones to get stable performance.

This year, the firmware version for Galaxy S22 models will start from ‘S’ instead of ‘G’, and the variant for Asia & Africa will see ‘E’ after model numbers. The Galaxy S22 series may launch early next year and will come with a major Android 12-based One UI 4 version. The One UI 4 version is in the beta testing phase, and soon it will reach the final version. For a reminder, various leakers & tipsters have grabbed all the important features of the smartphones.
