Sony has finally unveiled the PlayStation 5, which stands the next-generation console device. It contains the two variants, namely the standard edition and the digital edition. First look at PlayStation 5 gaming console has provided through the company’s event. This will be the successor edition of Sony’s most popular PlayStation 4 console device. It expected to launch later this year. The event reveals no details about the launching schedule.
The most important aspect of the upcoming edition is that it has changed in design. The PlayStation 5 has the vertical design, which includes two white panels on either side and in between the curved black interior. White panels covering both the sides will be useful for heat dissipation on the console. Further, it contains the USB-A and USB-C port on the front along with the LED light. The PlayStation 5 comes with the vertical stand, but it is yet to be known whether it is part of the design of the accessories.
PlayStation 5 Gaming Console Features
The PlayStation 5 has the outlandish design and which stands out of the box compared to the Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox series X design. Standard edition features the 4K Blu-ray disc drive, whereas the digital version lacks it and is thinner compared to the former. The DualSense controller has a haptic feedback system and a built-in microphone. Further, the Sony announces the range of accessories with the upcoming PlayStation 5 console.
Accessories include the DualSense Charging Station, HD Camera for possible motion tracking, new Pulse 3D Wireless Headset and Media Remote for a gaming console. Also, the PlayStation 5 supports 8K graphics, 4K quality at 120Hz refreshing rate, and 3D audio feature. Further, at the event, Sony offers the range of games that will be exclusive for PlayStation 5. It includes Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and many more. The latest edition from Sony expected to launch later this year.
