The year 2020 is for truly wireless earbuds, and many companies have showcased their creative earbuds in the first half. The smartphone makers like Realme, Oppo, Vivo, AKG launched their first-ever TWS earbuds in this year. The second half is not different as OnePlus, and many others will launch their first buds. Now, the well-known company for music & services, Sony is gearing up for two new affordable TWS earbuds. The two budget-priced truly wireless earbuds are showing on Sony’s official website.
As per the report, Sony will unveil earbuds on June 24 in India with the estimated price of Rs. 20,000. The other one may be priced below Rs. 20,000 for mid-range users. If we go with a 20K price tag for earbuds, then the price is already too high for many customers, so we should wait for official confirmation. The model numbers WF-SP800N and WF-XB700 are listed on the website with all the specifications. The latter will also get Extra Bass function in the promotion of #Boostyourvibes hashtag. The listing page also claims both earbuds will provide 18 hours battery life.
It comes with active noise cancellation, and the feature will consume the same battery life. With the support of quick charging, users can charge 60 minutes of playback in 10 minutes. The WF-XB700 is waterproof with IP68 ratings. The prices for both earbuds have to confirm yet. In the market, Realme Buds Air Neo is available for Rs. 1,500 and the Vivo TWS Neo is available for Rs. 1,799 in the country, so it needs to see how Sony will attract the customers.
