April Security patch Reached to Galaxy A35 & A55

Another mid-range phone, Galaxy A35 & Galaxy A55, has received the most recent April 1st security patch. It now serves India with an eye on a global audience. It is a bit late for this A series phone to get its new security patch when all the other devices are already on this month’s security update. Also, we will soon be in the new month, and users expect faster delivery from the South Korean company. The changelog mentions it comes with better and upgraded security to protect the device from any harm.

It brings a new A*6EXXS7AYC8 firmware code and weighs 270MB. Apart from that, you will not notice anything major in the code. In the previous software version, the phones got major camera features with One UI 6.1.1 firmware. In March, Galaxy S24 & S23 devices entered into the beta testing program for the upcoming Android 15 software. As per the sources, stable One UI 7 software will start rolling out in mid-May or June. Both Galaxy A35 & Galaxy A55 are eligible to receive upcoming mega versions.

    Galaxy A55 April Update

As per my knowledge, we could see One UI 7 software with Android 15 flavor come to these devices in March. The Galaxy AI features that launched with Galaxy S25 could also land on some mid-range devices, including Galaxy A36 & Galaxy A56. To get the current version, go to Settings, Software Update, and hit on the Download Now button.

Why Expert RAW app Doesn’t Support on your Galaxy Phone

In 2021, Samsung launched the Expert RAW app to enhance photography on Galaxy devices. It was first launched on Galaxy S21 Ultra, and later, it slowly came to other Galaxy devices. Undoubtedly, after this amazing app’s launch, the user experience with a camera has doubled. Thanks to its plenty of advanced features anyone can take pro-level photos. It allows us to unlock the full potential of our smartphone camera. With this app, we can capture photos in 16-bit RAW, which results in far better images.

Overall, Expert RAW is the app you simply can’t avoid on your Galaxy phone. If it is that important for your photography or videography, then why is it not available on your smartphone?

You may have this question, too You have purchased one of the best mid-range phones like Galaxy A73, Galaxy A55, or Galaxy S23 FE, but still, you don’t get the Expert RAW app on your device.

Well, I will explain why it is only supported on some flagship models but not on others.

    Expert RAW App

Here are the requirements to support the Expert RAW app on any device:

The first requirement is that the device run on Exynos 990 or higher and/or Snapdragon 865 or higher chipsets. The second requirement is that the smartphone has a minimum of 8GB RAM. Well, these days, most phones have 8GB RAM, so there is no problem with that. But the main requirement here is that the device must offer 2x optical zoom in a telephoto lens.

And most of the devices lack the first and third requirements, so they don’t support the app. Here is the list of Galaxy devices that support the Expert RAW app.
