One UI 5 Update Releasing for These Flagship Galaxy Devices
After Galaxy S22 series, Samsung is now releasing the latest One UI 5.0 version for its previous year’s flagship models. In the new report, the company has distributed a major Android 13 version for older devices. The last year’s Galaxy S21, S21+ & S21 Ultra, previous Galaxy S20, S20+ & S20 Ultra, and Galaxy Note 20 & Note 20 Ultra phones have received new updates. It is the first time that Samsung has released major software versions for any Galaxy device.
In the early morning, Galaxy S21 received its new version, and now the remaining models are getting it in different regions. With this trend, we can assume other devices including mid-range devices will soon get the update.
The firmware version N98*BXXU5GVJE has been released for Note 20 series. The Galaxy S20 series gets the G98*FXXUFGVJE firmware number. And the Galaxy S21 series receives the G99*BXXU5DVJC firmware number.
In Android 13, users can notice speedy UI, improved animation, changed notifications, call backgrounds as per contacts, advanced Wi-Fi, secured files, seamless sharing, more settings to Samsung Keyboard, and lots of changes.
All these firmware updates are available to download in European countries. In no time, Samsung will open it for the remaining countries, and within two weeks, it will reach the US. You can visit the Settings – Software Update- Download and Install option on the phone to see the pending update.

One UI 5 Beta Program Now Open for Galaxy S21 Series
Samsung has finally opened its One UI 5 Beta testing program for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones. It is now officially recruiting users in South Korea, and soon it will open in other countries. After Galaxy S22 series, the last year’s flagship models are the second to get the beta version. The users who participated have a chance to use all the Android 13 features before others, and send their feedback to the company.
In the One UI 5.0 firmware update, Samsung has introduced many new features, improved existing ones, and listened to the users to fix several bugs. The notification center has been enhanced to display better visuals, app icons, and other minor changes. It has also sped up animation to get smooth performance.
The Galaxy S22 series will get a stable version in the mid of October, and in the same month, the Galaxy S21 series may also receive a stable version. The Galaxy S21 could also get the One UI 4.1.1 version in the coming days.

Galaxy S21 & Galaxy S22 Receive August Camera Update
Samsung is now releasing new software updates for Galaxy S21 & Galaxy S22 series smartphones. In the firmware version, the company has brought a couple of new features to the camera and the other areas. The main highlight of the new version is that Samsung has added a telephoto lens in rear hyperlapse mode. It has been added after the demand from users and now the flagship models can use it.
Furthermore, in the camera, the company has improved QR code scanning. Many users use it, and it has now fixed failure issues, not recognizing QR issues and other minor issues. It has also optimized memory and AI engine in photo/night/ video mode.
There is enhanced picture quality in HDR and color photo mode. The image quality when recording motion pictures, VDIS performance, and the color & dark brightness in night mode are enhanced in this firmware.
Along with the camera, in the Message function, users can now view multiple images together. The software update is now rolling out for Galaxy S21 series & Galaxy S22 series devices in South Korea.
For Galaxy S22 series, it is now available for non-beta users. It will soon release for beta users in the coming beta version. In the new software, Samsung has again applied the August security patch.

Galaxy S22 Camera Features Are Coming to other Galaxy Devices
Galaxy S22 camera has many features to get most from the photography. With the excellent 108MP camera, anyone can produce better quality pictures, thanks to its wide features. Samsung always introduces new features to its latest devices, and Galaxy S22 is one of them. Now, those exclusive features are coming to other Galaxy devices. Starting today, Samsung will release Galaxy S22 camera features to older models. Now it is rolling out for Galaxy S21 series, and later sequentially, the update will available for other devices.
Samsung has mentioned not all features will come to all models. The latest flagship models will receive all the features, but the older ones will miss some of those. Samsung has also promised to bring a supported function (Only one function) to Galaxy S10, Note 10, S10 Lite, Note 10 Lite, and Z Fold in the second half. Here is the list of all the camera features which are coming to supported devices.

- Improving the video call effect – Galaxy S20, S21, Note 20, S20 FE. S21 FE, Z Flip, Filp 3, Fold 2, Fold 3. Further, Galaxy S10, Note 10, Z Fold, S10 Lite & Note 10 Lite are scheduled for the second half of 2022.
- Support for auto framing effects – Galaxy S21, S21 FE, Z Flip, Flip 3, Fold 2 & Fold 3
- Improved App Store Camera app quality – Galaxy S21, S21 FE, Z Flip 3 & Fold 3
Further, the company has improved Pro Mode Zoom to support telephoto lenses on the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The Expert RAW app has also ready for Galaxy Z Fold 3, and it will release in the current month. The latest firmware for Galaxy S21 series is now released in South Korea with all the mentioned features (Refer to the above image). The remaining Galaxy devices will soon get the update.

One UI 4.1 Firmware Spotted for Galaxy S21
In February, Samsung will announce Galaxy S22 series devices, and with it, Samsung will release the next One UI 4.1 version. Later one by one, the new version will come to older Galaxy devices. As per the information shared by Galaxy S Manager, in February, the Galaxy S21 series & Galaxy Note 20 series phones will first receive the upcoming One UI version. Now, as per the spotted firmware, Samsung is already started working on a new version for the Galaxy S21 lineup.
The leaked firmware shows, the number G99*BXXU4CVA2 has been assigned to the Galaxy S21 models. Though Galaxy Note 20 is also expected to get in the same month, the firmware build is not started yet. It means Samsung is near to launching the next version somewhere in February. The Galaxy S22 will be announced on February 08, so the older models may receive the next version at the end of February in major regions.
There is not much information about the upcoming One UI 4.1 version. According to SamMobile, in the next version, we could see better virtual RAM Plus management & better wallpaper-based color theme integration with Google apps. We will learn more about it when Samsung unveils it along with Galaxy S22.

Samsung Once Again Resumes One UI 4-based Updates
Since the release of the One UI 4 version, many users are facing serious issues with their devices. The Galaxy S21 series was the first to receive the major update, followed by Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3. Later, Samsung has to suspend the rollout due to known issues with all these devices. Now, looks like Samsung has once again fixed all these major & minor problems because it is once again releasing new updates based on the One UI 4 version.
The Galaxy S21 series, Z Fold 3, Flip 3, Galaxy Note 10 & Galaxy S10 series are receiving the new versions. The Galaxy S21 series gets firmware version G99*BXXSBULC in South Korea & India. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is receiving firmware version F926NKSS1BUL6 in South Korea for now. The new version still brings December security patches by solving known issues. We still have to hear from the end users about these issues and whether they have been solved.
For the Galaxy S10 & Note 10 lineups, it is the third beta version that comes with a couple of fixes. As per the changelog, it fixes photos taken by camera or from social media not saving on the device, improvements in system slowdown when a notification occurs, and AKG N400 earbuds connection errors. The third beta version is releasing in South Korea and will come to other countries soon.

Samsung Announced official Android 12 Roadmap for Galaxy Devices
Samsung is finally starting to announce an official roadmap for Android 12-based One UI 4 update to its Galaxy devices. The first schedule has now been spotted in Brazil, where the company has announced when the Galaxy devices will receive a stable Android 12 update. Note that this schedule is for Brazil, so other devices in major countries may receive it before these dates or later these dates. Like Telus operator in Canada has announced Galaxy S21 will get Android 12 version on November 23.
According to the post, the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 will first receive a major update in December. The Galaxy S21 series will be getting it in January along with Galaxy Z Flip, Fold, Fold 2 & Flip 3 devices. In February, Samsung will roll out a new version for its older flagship devices. The Galaxy S20, S20 FE, Note 20, Galaxy S10+, A52s, A72 & Tab S7 will join the squad in February. In March, Galaxy S10, S10e, S10 Lite, Note 10, Note 10+, Note 10 Lite, and A52 have been scheduled.
The Galaxy M62 will be the first M series model to receive it in May. The new Tab S7 FE, Tab S6, Tab S6 Lite will get it in May along with Galaxy A51 & Galaxy M52. All the remaining mid-range smartphones, tablets, and older devices have been listed in June 2022 and later months.
As we said earlier, the schedule is only for Brazil. If you look at the past, then these dates may change. The major countries like the US, the UK, Germany, South Korea, India & China may receive a totally different roadmap. Refer images below for exact schedule.

Stable One UI 4 Version Near as Galaxy S21 Beta Updates Stopped
At the end of last month, Samsung stopped recruiting new users in the One UI 4 Beta testing program for Galaxy S21 series. Now after the fourth beta version, the Beta Operation Manager has confirmed there won’t be any further beta updates for the Galaxy S21 series. In the user’s answer at the South Korean Samsung Community, he said, the company will not dispatch any new updates. The next major update for the Galaxy S21 devices will be the official or stable Android 12-based One UI 4 version.
The Beta Operation manager further mentioned all the issues that occurred in the fourth beta will be solved, and after correction, the final version will be delivered. Note that, there may not be a fifth beta update for the device, but Samsung might release a hotfix update if it is necessary. The manager hasn’t revealed the exact schedule for the One UI 4 stable rollout. As per his previous posts, it could happen before the end of this month.
There was chatter in between users about the new beta update when popular tipster Ice Universe claims about the 5th beta version. He claimed in the next beta Samsung will bring back the stretch overscroll effect. He may not be wrong after all, and the company may bring it in the stable version. Samsung is also testing the One UI 4 beta version with Galaxy S20 series, Note 20 series, Z fold 3 & Z Flip 3 devices.

Galaxy S21 One UI 4 Beta 4 Tackles Plenty of Bugs Fixes
It is the month of November and we are heading to the stable version of Android 12 or Android S. As talking for Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3, they have been testing with new beta versions. The Galaxy S21 series is today receiving the fourth installment of the One UI 4 Beta update. The new beta version has tackled some serious bugs to the devices, reports SamMobile. As per the news, it has resolved the Wi-Fi hotspot not working issue as well as decreased performance while selecting the highest screen resolution.
The stretch effect that enables when reaching the end of the screen has been removed by Samsung for no reason. The company had added stretch effect in the previous beta and quickly removed it in the current one. The problem with phone restarting during a voice call, keypad stopped forcibly while typing, and One UI Home force terminate & restart while closing recent apps have been solved. Further, you can see improvements with fingerprint, stock apps, and other settings in the new beta update.
It could be the last beta for Galaxy S21 series. The Beta Operation Manager has recently announced it will not recruit more users in the beta program. The Good Lock & Galaxy Labs modules are slowly updating in the support for the Android 12 version. The Galaxy S Manager has hinted the stable version will roll out by December. Beta Program for Galaxy S21 Ends, Ready to Get Stable Android 12 Update
For the last one and half months, Galaxy S21 users have taken part in the Android 12-based One UI 4 beta testing. Now, it looks like Samsung is ready to launch a stable version of the One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy S21, S21+ & S21 Ultra devices. The official man behind Beta Operation Manager has today announced the beta program has ended for these smartphones. Further, he appealed to users to see the full version. It means in South Korea for now, the company will not recruit users in the beta program for Galaxy S21 series.
Previously, the Galaxy S community moderator mentioned, the stable version of Android 12 will be delivered by December. Now, the Beta Operation Manager has given the same answer, so in the upcoming weeks, we can see the public version. Till now, Samsung has dispatched three beta updates for the One UI 4.0 version. Also, recently, it has released a hotfix for the third beta version to squash known bugs & issues.
This week Samsung has officially announced to bring One UI 4 beta program for Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 foldable phones. Third Beta Update for Galaxy S21 Live with November Security Patch
It’s Wednesday again, and it is time for another One UI 4 beta update. Samsung is now releasing the third beta version for Galaxy S21 series, to come one inch closer to a stable one. The latest beta has been dispatched to stabilize new software by enhancing various services. Further, the company has redesigned the Weather app with new animations. The ads inside the app have already gone, and the empty screen has been taken by cool animations. If you are a regular user of the Samsung Weather’s real-time report, then you should check it out.
The stabilization code has been applied all over the place. The menus were partially untranslated, call-text termination, keyboard shortcuts, calling Bixby not working on the lock screen, UI force close issue have been fixed. It has applied a new pet lightning effect to the camera. The voice command feature that hasn’t recognized some commands in-camera has finally been fixed.
Further, it stabilizes the color theme function, which has been added in the second beta. Samsung changed the Overscroll effect from glow to stretch form and it reflected to match with Android 12.
There are plenty of fixes made by Samsung developers to make it more stable. The team has considered almost all the issues sent by the customer and tried to fix them ASAP. Finally, the latest beta version has been included with November 2021 security patch. The new beta is live in South Korea, with the subject to open in the remaining six supported countries. Second Beta Update Now Rolling Out for Galaxy S21
Samsung is now rolling out a second beta update for Galaxy S21 series. The new version brings a couple of improvements over the first update, and there are newly added functions on the device. Samsung has brought virtual RAM Plus features to the Galaxy S21 to enhance the performance of the device. After Galaxy A52 5G & Galaxy Z Fold 3, it is another smartphone to get the feature. One UI 4.0 Beta with Android 12 for Galaxy S21 Started
After so much hide & seek, finally, Samsung has rolled out One UI 4.0 Beta for Galaxy S21 series devices. Samsung has officially announced it on the website, and also released a video on YouTube. More Leaks Hint One UI 4 Beta Could Open in Mid-September
As September is around the corner, we are getting more evidence to soon receive Android 12-based One UI 4.0 Beta in mid-September. Today, we received more information that hints the beta opening will be sooner than we expect. As per the previous news, Samsung may open One UI 4.0 Beta for Galaxy S21 at the end of September. Now, the new information shared on the Samsung community by a user named Old Man says the beta will open in mid-September. Galaxy S21 Lineup Now receiving One UI 3.1.1 Features
Samsung has introduced One UI 3.1.1 software version along with Galaxy Z Flip 3 & Z Fold 3 devices. It includes couple of new features and changes to the devices. Now, it is time to deliver this new software to the older Galaxy devices as the company promised. The flagship models Galaxy S21, S21+ & S21 Ultra are now getting One UI 3.1.1 features in their latest August update. Samsung has already mentioned the One UI version will remain the same, but only features will come to the older models.
In the new version, users can see improved UI, new bedtime mode, accidental touch protection, and a new weather app version. Further, the animations and pop-up menus load faster, and there is an enhanced camera app. Some users also pointed out the Galaxy S21 devices are not heating that much compared to the last version. One UI 4.0 Beta for Galaxy S21 will Start From September
Today, official Beta Operation Manager at South Korea accidentally posted banner for Beta testing for One UI 4.0 version. Later, the manager deleted the poster from the account, which creates lots of confusion in between users. It could be mistake made by Beta Operation Manager and he posted it online. The poster claimed that One UI 4.0 beta or Android 12 beta for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra will start soon. The banner has taken down after few minutes for some reason, but the message was spread everywhere.
Now to make it clear, the official team member has answered to users about actual release date for beta testing. As per the official team, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra will get One UI 4.0 beta version in September & October. And the previous Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ & Galaxy S20 Ultra will start to getting in October. That means, the beta version for Galaxy S21 could start in the last week of September in South Korea , and it will reach to other major countries in early October.
