Confirmed: One UI 4 Beta Program will Open for Galaxy S10 & Note 10
This week, we had discovered Beta testing firmware for the Galaxy S10 & Note 10 series devices. Now, we can confirm that both devices will participate in the beta testing program for One UI 4 version. The Beta Operation Manager at South Korea has officially confirmed it to the Galaxy S10 users. Also, the other moderator had already confirmed it for Galaxy Note 10 series. As per the previous answer, the beta testing program for these devices will start from December.
As per the official Android 12 schedule, both devices will get stable One UI 4 update in January 2022. The beta program for the users will start in all the selected countries, and the official banner will be posted on Samsung Members app. We will inform you when Samsung open the beta program for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 devices.
Both the devices were also part of One UI 3 beta testing program and received Android 11 update. Samsung has already mentioned these devices will get major updates for three years and this year might be last for them. It is good that Samsung has considered about these old flagship models.

One UI 4 Beta Program for Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 Coming Soon
After opening the One UI 4.0 beta testing program for Galaxy S21 series, Samsung is now ready to open it for other devices. The Beta Operation manager has today officially announced, One UI 4 beta program will soon open for Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 devices. As per the previous sources, the Galaxy S20 series was closer to getting the new beta program, though the company is opening it for foldable phones. Both Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 are 2021’s flagship devices from Samsung, after Galaxy S21 series.
At launching, new Galaxy Z series devices have received One UI 3.1 version out of the box. And now, both phones are going to join another major version through beta testing. Samsung has started a beta program in September with the Galaxy S21 lineup. The smartphone now is on its third beta update and recently received a hotfix update. As per the Galaxy S moderator in Samsung Community, the company may release a stable Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update by December this year.
The South Korean users will first get the beta version, and later it will start in other countries. Later, the users in the US, UK, Germany, India, Poland & China can join the testing. The release date has not been mentioned yet, but we can assume it will start next week. One UI 4 Beta 3 for Galaxy S21 Gets Hot Fix Update
This week, Samsung has released One UI 4 Beta 3 for Galaxy S21 series. It dispatched with plenty of improvements & fixes to stabilize the software. Now, the third beta is getting a hotfix to squash missed bugs. The company always releases hotfixes to its beta version when most of the users demand a quick fix, or their phone is not working properly due to bugs in software. This new emergency update does the same job. It fixes bugs and solved app crashing issues by stabilizing code.
As per the changelog, it solved the issue with some browsers that were not working. The app crashes when sharing images from the Gallary, and the app closes when a music file is executed has been solved. Further, it fixes the Samsung Music app, which was creating a problem for the Always-on display screen to not appear when the screen is turned off. Finally, you can see an overall enhancement in the usage after the installation of this firmware.
The hotfix update is currently released in South Korea, where the third beta version has been dispatched. The One UI 4 Beta 3 is today releasing in other countries, and it might have launched with these fixes. If you are on beta 3, then you will see firmware version G99*NKSU3ZUJG, and it weighs 215MB in size. With the update, Samsung has rolled out Android’s November security patch.

Samsung Nears to Open Android 12 Beta for Galaxy S20 & Galaxy Z Series
The Galaxy S21 lineup in listed countries is now on a second beta update for Android 12-based One UI 4.0. Samsung has included many features & changes in the upcoming version. The new Material You, color theme, RAM Plus, changed icons, and many other changes make it more forward-looking. Now, after Galaxy S21, the company is going to launch a beta version on Galaxy S20 & Galaxy Z series devices. The firmware buildup for these devices has been spotted in South Korea, which hints soon they will get a beta version.
The last year’s Galaxy 20, S20+ & S20 Ultra are some of those flagship models, which will receive a beta version. The foldable phones have also participated in the beta testing last year, so they will do the same this year. Second Beta Update for Galaxy S21 Postponed to Next Week
The second beta update that is scheduled to launch today has been postponed to next week. The official Beta Operation Manager has stated the news in Samsung community South Korea. As per the previous report, the second beta version for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra was supposed to release today in South Korea. Sadly, Samsung’s official member come ahead and confirmed it is not going to happen this week. However, the Beta Manager didn’t mention the main reason behind the delay, but he promised to bring a more stable version next week.
If there is an issue on Samsung’s side, then the other countries might also face delays. Also, it arises a question whether this week the company will release the first beta for Galaxy S21 in other countries like India, China & Poland. Here is the official answer from Beta Operation Manager.

One UI 4.0 Beta with Android 12 for Galaxy S21 Started
After so much hide & seek, finally, Samsung has rolled out One UI 4.0 Beta for Galaxy S21 series devices. Samsung has officially announced it on the website, and also released a video on YouTube. After last week’s announcement, many users were worried about whether they will get the beta version this month. It was also in the news that the beta update will release in October. To stop all the rumors & news, Samsung today come ahead, and officially declared a beta testing program will start from today. It has now open in Samsung’s home country, and soon open in the US & Germany.
In One UI 4.0 Beta version, Samsung has added 18 new features & changes. The Android 12 has focused on privacy of the users very seriously. Samsung Postponed One UI 4.0 Beta Program for Galaxy S21
Earlier, the Samsung rep had officially confirmed the beta testing for the One UI 4.0 version with Android 12 will start from today, September 09, in its home country. Now, looks like there is something change in the plan, and that’s not going to happen today. Samsung official team has again come ahead and announced that the beta program for the One UI 4.0 version which was supposed to open today has been postponed. The official representative hasn’t mentioned any reason behind the sudden delay in the schedule.
In the earlier statement, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra on SKT, KT & LGU+ telecom subscribers were planned to get beta version later today. Now, in the changed plan, all these users have to wait for a little longer to join the beta testing. It also put doubt on the other answer given by the Samsung rep. He stated the beta testing will be open between September 09 to October 29, which hints at the end of October or in early November, flagship models may receive stable versions.
If the beta testing has been postponed for a couple of days, then as per mentioned schedule, the users could still get their hands on a stable version in early November. Android 12 Beta will Soon Open in the US & Germany
Samsung Beta Operation Manager has announced One UI 4.0 Beta testing program for South Korea. The list is now growing, and Samsung has officially confirmed the beta program for another two countries. Along with Samsung’s home country, it will open in the US & Germany. The Beta Operation Managers in the US & Germany have officially posted a banner in the Samsung Members app and confirmed it. Further, in China, the One UI 4.0 Beta with Android 12 update has leaked in the firmware version.
The famous leaker IceUniverse has shared a screenshot of the leaked firmware version from the next beta update. As per the source, the internal testing for the developers has started in China & South Korea. We have already mentioned the next Android 12 beta version will start rolling out from mid-September or before that. From time to time, we get many hints from the leaked data about the next major update. Previously, the company has upgraded the Good Lock module One Hand Operation+ with Android 12 support.

One UI 4.0 Beta for Galaxy S21 will Start From September
Today, official Beta Operation Manager at South Korea accidentally posted banner for Beta testing for One UI 4.0 version. Later, the manager deleted the poster from the account, which creates lots of confusion in between users. It could be mistake made by Beta Operation Manager and he posted it online. The poster claimed that One UI 4.0 beta or Android 12 beta for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra will start soon. The banner has taken down after few minutes for some reason, but the message was spread everywhere.
Now to make it clear, the official team member has answered to users about actual release date for beta testing. As per the official team, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra will get One UI 4.0 beta version in September & October. And the previous Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ & Galaxy S20 Ultra will start to getting in October. That means, the beta version for Galaxy S21 could start in the last week of September in South Korea , and it will reach to other major countries in early October.
