    One UI 4 Beta Program Starts for Galaxy S10 Series

    We had reported in the last month that Samsung is planning to conduct a beta program for its older flagship models. After the beta testing program starts for Galaxy Note 10 devices, the company is now recruiting it for the Galaxy S10 series. The Beta Operation Manager has officially posted a banner to recruit new users to taste the beta version before anyone else. The users in South Korea can now participate in the program, and anytime soon, it will open in other countries.

    The program is open for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e & the Galaxy S10 5G smartphones in the country. Samsung has promised to bring a stable Android 12 update for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 in January next year. There is lots of time for Galaxy S10 to run on the beta version and taste the features. Samsung has released a stable version for Galaxy S21 series, and Galaxy S20 & Note 20 will get in this month as their testing program has ended.

    The interested users can open the Samsung Members app to participate in the program. The recruitment for Note 10 in the first slot filled up in a few hours. It is the third time for these devices to join the beta testing program since One UI 2 Beta, and now they are receiving One UI 4 Beta version. Thanks to Samsung and its recent update policies, it is the first time any devices are getting that long support.

The Galaxy S10 users are also eagerly waiting for an official answer about the beta testing program for these flagship models. Now, as per the Galaxy S community manager, Samsung may conduct a beta program for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 in December. He further said, it is not confirmed yet, and the company still deciding to whether open One UI 4 beta for these devices.

    Meanwhile, our discovery has found out both devices running on the Android 12 version. That means, soon both devices will run on beta version or stable version. The stable release date for both devices is in January 2022 in almost all major countries. Further, we have spotted Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy S10+ 5G variants in the Geekbench score, which shows these devices are running on the Android 12 version.

    Galaxy S10 Android 12 Update

    The Exynos-powered Galaxy S10 5G received a 794 single-core score & a 2028 multi-core score in Geekbench 5 score. Finally, as we said Samsung is discussing the beta opening matter with the internal beta operation team. The beta testing time this year is short, so the company may move to a stable version instead of a beta version. The stable version is currently available for Galaxy S21, and the beta program is live for Galaxy S20, Note 20 & Galaxy Z series devices.

    Samsung is moving fast towards its goal to dispatch the Android 12 version to its Galaxy devices. This week, Samsung has already distributed the second One UI 4 beta update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3. Now, today the company is seeding a third beta version for these foldable phones. It is a faster rollout than the Galaxy S21 devices, were receive beta updates every two weeks. Of course, Samsung is now rolling out a stable version, so it wants to make it fast.

    The firmware version ZUKG is now seeding on the Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 devices. The new beta comes with plenty of bug fixes to stabilize the code. It has fixed issues with the color pallet, screen brightness, and other problems. The company roadmap has revealed both devices will get a stable One UI 4 version next month. Here is the changelog for the devices.

    – Bounces in the palette background setting

    – Cover screen brightness cannot be adjusted

    – When the app is closed, the desktop is briefly changed to green

    – After temporarily keeping the screen bright, when the cover screen is turned on restored to setting brightness

    – When double-tapping the cover screen, the screen turns on late

    – When unlocking while unfolding, it blinks and there is no animation.

    – No Service (U+ 5G) after the call ends

    – Some apps do not vibrate when notifications occur

    Samsung is doing a great job by launching a stable Android 12 version for its flagship Galaxy S21 phones along with recruiting users in its One UI 4 beta program. Earlier today, Samsung has opened a beta program for Galaxy S20 & Note 20 in the home country. Now, Samsung is recruiting Galaxy Z Flip, Flip 5G & Fold 2 users in One UI 4 beta testing program. After Galaxy S20 & Note 20, these are the last year’s flagship models to participate in the beta program.

    The Beta Operation manager has officially announced it via a banner in the Samsung Members app. The users who want to join the beta program can open the Members app and signup for it. It is now open for Galaxy Z Fold 2, Flip & Flip 5G phones in South Korea. As it is now open in the home country, it will soon open in the other countries where Samsung has started beta program.

    Right after the Android 12 update for Galaxy S21 series, Samsung has released a second beta version for Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 phones. Two weeks ago, both foldable phones have joined the beta testing program, and now receiving their second beta with plenty of fixes. The firmware version ‘ZUKA’ has been deployed to solve major issues and know bugs. As per the changelog, it has improved camera-related & lock screen-related behavior. The freeze, blur, and slowness issues have been tackled for the lock screen in the latest beta.

    The Wi-Fi automatic connection error and the screen not working at a 120Hz refresh rate have also been solved. The known bugs in rebooting the device and screen freeze are also on the radar to get a better experience. On the cover screen, users will get enhancement in incoming text overlapping, widgets, and GIF settings. The stuttering behavior has improved when sharing the batteries. Further, it has talked about known issues with the Camera app, Samsung Health app, and other services.

    Galaxy Z Flip 3 Beta Update

    In this version, Samsung has a list of errors that have been solved quickly, and it is a good sign to move to a stable version. The update is currently rolling out in the home country, and soon to enter other countries. As per the official roadmap in South Korea & Brazil, Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 will receive a stable Android 12 update in December 2021.

    Update: As per the Beta Operation Manager, Samsung hasn’t announced One UI 4 Beta update for Galaxy S20 series yet. It looks like some lucky customers have received it accidentally or it may have leaked by Samsung team member. There is also chance Samsung may have pulled beta version for another date. As we checked on Reddit forum, more users are claiming they have received new beta version on their Galaxy S20 models. Also, some users from the UK received it too. We will inform you, when there is official announcement.

    Today, a few hours ago, we covered that the official Galaxy S Manager announced to release One UI 4 Beta for the Galaxy S20 series very soon. Now, the US users of the Unlocked Galaxy S20 series are getting an Android 12-based beta version. Without any ‘coming soon notice, Samsung has directly released a beta update in the US. We thought the update will first release in the home country, and later come to other countries, but Samsung first chose to roll out in the US.

    To apply for the new One UI 4 Beta program, open the Samsung Members app on your Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ & Galaxy S20 Ultra devices. For now, it is open for Unlocked Variants, and soon it will come to other locked models. The stable version for the Galaxy S20 series may release in December says Galaxy S Manager at Samsung community South Korea. The Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Galaxy Z Flip 3 are already inside the beta testing program, and soon they could get a stable Android 12 version.


    In the new update, along with Android 12 features, One UI 4 version Samsung has changed plenty of features like redesigned Home screen widgets, more options on the lock screen, Quick settings panel redesign, more features in Samsung keyboard, removed ads from stock apps, and more. Note that, it is an early version of the beta, so some features and apps may not work properly, so you should download the beta version if you are okay with it.

    The latest One UI 4 beta program has been successfully running on the Galaxy S21 series & Galaxy Z series. Now, the beta program will soon open for previous generation Galaxy devices. We have previously spotted Galaxy S20 series is getting ready for the next beta version, but the release date was still unknown. To make it solid proof, Galaxy S Manager has finally spoken about the Galaxy S20 series. He has mentioned in its latest answer post, the next Galaxy S20 update will be an Android 12-based One UI 4 beta version.

    In the latest answer to the query, he hinted the firmware version number ends with ‘EUI4’ is the last to run on One UI 3.1 update. Further, he mentioned the next update for Galaxy S20 will be based on the One UI 4 beta program. It means in the next few days or till mid-November, Samsung could open a beta program for Galaxy S20 devices. The answer is for South Korean users, where the S20 series is running on the October patch with the ‘G98*NKSU1EUI4’ build number. The other countries have already received the November security patch, but South Korea is still waiting for a new update.

    As always, the One UI 4 beta program will first open in South Korea, and then sequentially, it will reach other countries. After the release of the beta version, in the same week or next week, other countries will receive it. To check for the beta program status, install the Samsung Members app, and see the official announcement notices. The stable version of Android 12 will be distributed by December for Galaxy S21 devices, and later, other Galaxy devices will join it.

    Samsung is now recruiting users in the latest Android 12-based One UI 4 beta testing program for this year’s foldable phones. It is now live in South Korea, and users can see the announcement banner in the Samsung Members app. The beta testing is open for both Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 smartphones. Unfortunately, the update is not for the Thom Browne Edition of both devices. The Beta Operation Manager has requested Thom Browne Edition users to not apply for the beta, and if you are, then you must cancel it.

    In the beta program, you can use & test new features of One UI 4 with Android 12 software in the early stage. The One UI 4 version brings extended privacy protection, where you can get extra security to stop privacy leakage. You can prevent the privacy of personal information, camera location access, microphone, and many other functions. In the Dynamic color or color palette, you can customize the color of a system based on the color of the wallpaper. You can apply colors to menus, buttons, backgrounds, and apps.

    Samsung has also changed its stock apps with additional features, and without ads. You will notice several changes in the new Android 12 version.     It’s Wednesday again, and it is time for another One UI 4 beta update. Samsung is now releasing the third beta version for Galaxy S21 series, to come one inch closer to a stable one. The latest beta has been dispatched to stabilize new software by enhancing various services. Further, the company has redesigned the Weather app with new animations. The ads inside the app have already gone, and the empty screen has been taken by cool animations. If you are a regular user of the Samsung Weather’s real-time report, then you should check it out.

    The stabilization code has been applied all over the place. The menus were partially untranslated, call-text termination, keyboard shortcuts, calling Bixby not working on the lock screen, UI force close issue have been fixed. It has applied a new pet lightning effect to the camera. The voice command feature that hasn’t recognized some commands in-camera has finally been fixed.

    Further, it stabilizes the color theme function, which has been added in the second beta. Samsung changed the Overscroll effect from glow to stretch form and it reflected to match with Android 12.
