Google, Samsung & Fitbit has launched the new Wear OS 3.0 update last month, and since then the rumors are spreading about which wearables will receive it. Recently, Qualcomm Snapdragon hints us which smartwatches will get the update, but Google issued a statement and denied everything. The dedicated website for Wearables has new information to share in this all crowd. According to the sources at Wareable, Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 & TicWatch E3 smartwatches will confidently get Wear OS 3.0 version.
If we go with the news source, then the release date for the update is the end of this year. It means both devices will run on the next version in December. Though they both will join the Wear OS 3.0 Version party, they will not the first to get it. Samsung is launching Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy watch Active 4 & Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in its next Galaxy Unpacked event. All these Samsung wearables will first enjoy new features of Wear OS-based One UI Watch software. Fitbit could also launch Fitbit Sense 2 & Versa 4 with this firmware in September or October.
At a glance, Wear OS 3.0 has major changes over the previous version. According to Google officials, users can feel 30% faster app opening, smooth performance, and higher battery level. It will also bring the YouTube Music app to the Wear OS smartwatches along with the other apps. The confirmed news from Mobvoi has yet to come, till then we can go with this source. The other companies like Oppo, Suunto, Montblanc, Tag Heuer & Puma have not commented anything on it except Fossil.
