TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra Offers AFib Detection, Promise of Wear OS 3 Update

It is not long ago when Mobvoi silently launched the TicWatch Pro X smartwatch in China. The watch launched with the Pro 3 moniker and dual-screen display. It has good specs, but it was not in the focus that users were waiting for. Today, Mobvoi launched TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra watch, which everyone was waiting for. It brings durability Mil-std-810g standard over 1.4-inch dual-display to protect in the extreme usage. The display has AMOLED + FSTN dual-screen to enhance the capabilities including battery life. The moniker is unchanged from the predecessor TicWatch Pro 3.

The watch has packed with a 577mAh battery to run for 45 days in essential mode, and 72 hours in normal usage. In the statement, Mobvoi claims to have 40% more battery life than the original TicWatch Pro. It could be just marketing mind because TicWatch Pro had released in 2018.

To store the essential data and offline music, it gets 8GB internal storage, half of what users get on Galaxy Watch 4. The Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC with a dual-system processor and 1GB RAM comes to speed up all the tasks. It runs on Wear OS 2.0 version with a promise to receive Wear OS 3.0 update in 2022.

It also detects signs of AFib, however, it doesn’t receive medical certification. It also provides data for mental fatigue assessment and energy level after a workout or sleep.

Mobvoi has two variants for TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra – the GPS & GPS + 4G LTE. The GPS version will go on sale from tomorrow for $290 & eSIM supported variant will be available in November for $300. It is available to purchase from the Mobvoi website & Amazon.
