As per the previous leak, Mobvoi is developing three new smartwatches with forward-looking technology. Before that happen, in a surprising move, Mobvoi has launched a new Ticwatch Pro X smartwatch in China. It comes before anyone leaks anything about it, but the good thing is it is the flagship model from the company. It offers Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset, though it missed Wear 4100+ SoC. It runs with Wear OS by Google platform with all the Google & Mobvoi features inside.
On the TicWatch Pro X, the company has introduced two 1.39-inch displays – AMOLED screen & FSTN LCD screen. Both displays play equal parts on the watch in different conditions. Mobvoi says you can use two displays in Smart mode & Durable mode. In the Smart mode, you can use an AMOLED display with all the functions, and it will give you four days of battery life.
In Durable mode, the FSTN LCD screen will be activated to use the most essential feature. The Durable mode will preserve the battery life of 45 days, and it is useful for trekking or long vacation.
It offers eSIM support to share a mobile number with mobile and forget it while outdoor. There are 20 workout modes with detailed exercises. To store the data, 8GB memory has been packed along with 1GB RAM. The smartwatch also has an IP68 waterproof build.
In the health features, you get SpO2, stress, sedentary reminder, weather, women’s health tool, smart notifications, music, controller, heart rate & sleep rate. The new TicWatch Pro X is now available for pre-order from the JD.com website for 1,999 yuan or $310. It is a limited-time offer, and later the watch will cost $372 when it goes on sale.
