AS the Xiaomi promised in the last month, Mi Watch users are now receiving the first update on their smartwatch. The firmware is releasing China, where last month, the watch made its successful debut. The has officially launched its Wear OS app on iOS platform for Apple’s iPhone & iPad users. At the time announcement, only Android users had got the official app from Xiaomi and now at the near-global launching of Mi Watch, it has introduced a new iOS app. iPhone users can download the official app from the iOS App Store.
The pairing experience has improved by some margin for first time users who want to pair the watch with a smartphone. Most customers have reported watch freeze for the first few minutes while pairing it with Android smartphones. Some users unpair the watch many times in a week so they can now match it hassle-free. The notification issue has also solved in the latest firmware. All the apps will send notification on the Mi Watch to take action.
Weather positioning optimization is another change that happened in the new version. Fixed weather location information will provide you accurate location in known or unknown areas.
