After Oppo, its other sibling company Vivo is now working on its first smartwatch. It will be the first entry of another Chinese company in the fastest growing wearable market. The leaker The Tech Guy, on its official Twitter account, has posted first design images on Vivo’s upcoming smartwatch. In the current year, Oppo has launched Wear OS-based Oppo smartwatch with some advanced features. The Oppo Watch comes with an ECG function that is rare on any budget-priced smartwatch. You can only see ECG on watches like Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch Active 2 & Withings.
As per the images posted on Twitter, the Vivo Watch is more similar to the Huawei Watch GT 2 & Honor MagicWatch 2. It doesn’t share the design with Oppo Watch, which has the same look of Apple Watch Series 5. The company should go with circular design instead of copying other displays. As revealing the images, there is one physical button on one side and the sporty look. It will also have a heart rate sensor and other basic features. The smartwatch design patent has spotted in the home country, so that means the watch could first appear in China and later in the different regions.

Previously the trademark of Vivo has appeared on a number of certification databases, including the European Union Intellectual Property Office website. In 2019, Vivo announced its entry into the wearable market, though it is the first time we have a strong sign from the company. We also have received possible images of the upcoming OnePlus Watch that could come into the light later this year.
