Vivo is moving forward to launch its first smartwatch in the market by receiving necessary certifications. A few weeks ago, it has earned 3C or compulsory certification of China, which is a must to launch the product in the country. Now, it moved one inch closer towards the official announcement by getting SIG’s Bluetooth certificate. Today, the Vivo Watch appeared on Bluetooth SIG site with model number WA2056. It clears the smartwatch will come with Bluetooth 5.0 version.
There is not much to share about the watch, but thanks to some tipsters we now have little information to share. In April, the first tipster came ahead and told us about the existence of the Vivo Watch. Previously it was said that the wearable could launch in July. Now, the new SIG’s Bluetooth certification indicates the date is near, and that could be at the end of July, or at the beginning of August. The first leak came about the design patent in various angles. These are the only images we have received in the last few weeks.
