Garmin has released the latest software updates for its two major smartwatches. The Vivoactive 3 Mercedez-Benz Daimler Edition and Vivoactive 4/4s have upgraded to stable versions. In deep, the Vivoactive 3 edition has been seeded with a 2.60 firmware version. And the Vivoactive 4/4s has gotten stable firmware version 6.10 with plenty of improvements. Garmin has fixed many minor and known issues on both devices to run them as expected. Bluetooth connectivity, heart rate monitoring, and exercise modes are some areas where the company has worked.
Specifically, on the Vivoactive 3, Garmin has improved the Garmin Pay function and Bluetooth connectivity. It has further fixed uploading issues with the Golf scorecard, VIRD widget crash, and Connect IQ apps. To maintain overall quality, the company has provided stability to the watch. The Vivoactive 4/4s has improved with better pulse OX & workout duration vibrations for better accuracy. Again, there is a slight enhancement (for 4/4s) in elevation at the beginning of activities and handlings for updates to smart notifications.
Finally, for the 4/4s models, the company has fixed auto-lock not locking issue, flattening heart rate in heart rate graph, failing to uninstall CIQ apps, heart rate LED would not turn on, and many more. It has also fixed getting pregnancy data from the Menstrual Cycle tracking widget. For both Vivoactive 3 Mercedez-Benz Daimler Edition & Vivoactive 4/4s, the update is available through Garmin Express or Garmin Connect apps.
