The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro and Honor MagicWatch 2 receive a software update that brings in new features and fixes old bugs. For watch GT 2 Pro, the updated version will be 10.1.3.28 of Lite OS, and for Honor MagicWatch 2, the updated version will be 220.127.116.11. Its been only two months since the last update of GT 2 Pro which had got in features like a 24-hour blood oxygen level monitor and the addition of new languages like Korean, Burmese, Farsi, and Bengali.
The GT 2 Pro watch was launched in China on October 30 with one more series of Mate 40, priced at nearly Rs. 28,600 for the variant with sports strap while the other priced at nearly Rs. 30,400. Currently, the update brings in features like the 24-hour weather forecast display and the users will now be able to change and adjust workouts according to individual needs. The update might have a code necessary as they are upgrading the Watch GT 2 Pro to HarmonyOS and the size will be 214 MB.
The update for the other MagicWatch 2 smartwatch will be of a smaller size of only 21.5 MB and as it is lighter the updates won’t be massive. It is bringing change in post strength training workouts by giving you detailed evaluations and the system stability has been improved further. Shortcuts have been added so that you can find your favorite features easily.
The company has expected to bring HarmonyOS to nearly 48 devices, of which one is the Watch GT 2 Pro though public beta may not be ready till Q2 next year. Users can update their smartwatches from the Huawei Health app and make sure to keep your watch at least 20% charged before updating.
