Xiaomi Sold Over 5.3 Million Smartphones & wearables in Indian Sales

The Indian sales of Flipkart’s Big Billion Day Sales & Amazon’s Great Indian Festive sales have ended with a big bang for both companies. Both Flipkart & Amazon companies have claimed that they have broken all the previous records & reached another milestone in the Indian online shopping market. Well, in this rivalry, Xiaomi has become a big winner. The Chinese tech giant has claimed it was the biggest seller in the last 6 days on both platforms. It says, the company has sold over 5.3 million smartphones & wearables in the country. If we convert it then the company has sold 525 devices per minute.

In India, festive season sales for Flipkart & Amazon had started from 29th September to 4th October. Both online retailers offered massive discounts on many popular & some new devices, including smartphones, wearables, TVs, home appliances & other gadgets.

Xiaomi Sales

Xiaomi said there was a day when it sold 1.5 million devices in a single day. The company also witnessed 3.8 million smartphone sales in the last few days. Newly launched Mi TV gets a warm welcome from Indian customers that bought 2,50,000 TVs in the same period.

Huge Success for Mi Bands

In the wearable, Mi Band 3 & Band 4 was a big hit for the company. In the sales, Mi Band 3 was reduced to Rs. 1,700 in India that helped it to reach another milestone. Mi Band 4, on the other hand, is already become hit without any price discount or other cash-back offers. In the last two weeks, it went out of sale within few minutes on Amazon, Mi.com & Mi Stores. Even in amazon’s festive sales, it was launched on 29th September & later on 5th October today, both times many users didn’t get it.

Xiaomi hasn’t released any data for Mi Band 3 & 4 smartphones, but as per the sales it might have sold over millions of fitness bands in India. For the accurate data, we have to wait till Xiaomi announces official numbers for both Mi Bands.
