Xiaomi has poised to launch its own branded smartwatch, Xiaomi Watch Color, globally with the name Mi Watch Revolve. The smartwatch was originally released in China in December 2019 and now the company is set to expand its coverage. As per the report, it has the renamed version of the original watch and will become the company’s first global smartwatch soon. The company is planning to expand its market coverage in the smartwatch segment and taking efforts to make it a competitive product globally.
The watch has spotted in the Mi Watch app alongside the company’s upcoming Mi Smart Band 4C. It is expected to rebrand as the Redmi Band. Further, the Spanish YouTuber eSavants also posted an unboxing video that clearly shows the Mi Watch Revolve. These sources make it clear that there will be the rebranded Mi Watch Revolve soon. Also, the eSavants mentions that he got the watch through AliExpress and paid around €90 for the product.
Mi Watch Revolve to launch in global market
Although the global version of the watch is renamed, we expect the same features as in the Chinese version. The Mi Watch Revolve will run on the MIUI which is based on the Google Wear OS. It comes with the 1.39 inches AMOLED display and supports 110 watch faces. The wearable is available in three color variants and multiple straps. Further, it is 5ATM water-resistant and useful to carry in swimming purposes. Mi Watch Revolve features multiple useful sensors like the gyroscope, accelerometer, barometer, and ambient light sensor.
The wearable comes with inbuilt GPS and features Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Also, the inbuilt NFC feature enables the users to make a contactless payment. The Mi Watch Revolve features the heart rate monitor and sleep tracking. It fuelled with 420mAh battery which can last long for 14 days on a single charge. This wearable will compete with its rivals like the Galaxy Watch Active and Amazfit GTR. Hopefully, the device will penetrate the market with its pretty features and the affordable price range.
