Galaxy A23 Users Can Now Download January Software

January 24, 2026

Samsung has started rolling out the January 2026 security update for the Galaxy A23 in India. The latest update focuses on improving system security and stability, ensuring that users get a safer and more reliable smartphone experience. According to the update screen, the Galaxy A23 is receiving the patch with One UI version 6.1 based on Android 14. The new firmware version is A236EXXSDEZA1, and the update package size is around 316 MB, making it a relatively small download that mainly targets security improvements rather than new features.

The January 2026 security patch includes fixes for multiple vulnerabilities found in the Android system and Samsung’s own software components. These patches help protect the device from potential threats such as malware, data leaks, and other security risks. Samsung also reminds users that once the update is installed, they will not be able to downgrade to an older software version due to security policy restrictions.

Galaxy A23 January Update

As usual, the rollout is happening in phases, so it may take some time before it reaches all Galaxy A23 units across India and other regions. Users can manually check for the update by going to Settings, then Software update, and tapping on Download and install. Keeping the device updated is recommended for better performance and long-term security.
