Galaxy Watch 5 Passed FCC, Reveals 10W Fast Charging

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch 5 has received a certificate to reach one step near to launching. It has cleared a necessary FCC certification in the US and revealed some more information about the smartwatch. It is not new that we know everything about the next Galaxy Watch, thanks to various rumors. In revealed documents, we can clearly see the faster-charging support for the next Galaxy Watch 5 series watches.

It confirms that this time Samsung will bring 10W fast charging support for the device. It will be a welcomed move by the company if they enhance the capability of the charging method. Till now, or until Galaxy Watch 4 series, Samsung has only packed 5W fast charging support, so this time it will double the power.

The increase in the capability will surely charge the battery much faster than you think. It is not like smartphone charging, where you will not get the same results. On the other side, with Smartwatch, users can expect to charge the battery in less time.

Previously, tipsters have claimed battery power on Galaxy Watch 5 & Watch 5 Pro will be higher than the current one. The report claims that the battery on Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will be 60% larger than Watch 4. It hints the watches will give less hiccup in charging time and usage time.

As we know so far, the watch will terminate the physical bezel, get skin temperature, better SpO2 & ECG features, and One UI 4.5 version with Wear OS 3 skin. The reported launch date for Samsung’s next watch is August 10.
