Samsung has decided to discontinue its shopping app, Samsung Mall, for all its users. Today, Samsung is sending notifications to all Mall users in India about the shutdown of the app. In the notification company has declared that on June 30, it will discontinue all the services from the app. Yet, the company has not posted any declaration about the shutdown of the app on its official website, but now most customers in the country are getting this message in their notification panel.
Here is the notification message from Samsung to the customers. “Thank you for your support. Samsung Mall will be discontinued and the service will not be available after 30/06/2019”. Samsung Mall was launched in January 2017 in India to sell different products, and it partnered with Amazon, TATA CliQ, Shopclues & Jabong.com as shopping partners.

This may be because most of the customers in the country use the main online shopping apps of the retailers, which give big discounts to customers. The main motto of the app was to provide all items in one place. On many Samsung smartphones, the Mall app is already pre-installed, and there are nearly 10 million downloads in the Play Store.
Now it looks like Samsung Mall is not doing well as the company expected. There are Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal & PayTM Mall apps that deliver excellent services to the end users. Most customers prefer official apps of these online retailers, so very less customers use third-party apps like Samsung Mall to shop for products online.
