Samsung has decided to discontinue its shopping app Samsung Mall for all its users. Today, Samsung is sending notifications to all Mall users in India about shutting down of the app. In the notification company has declared that on June 30 it will discontinue all the services from the app. Yet, company has not posted any declaration about the shut-down of the app on its official website, but now most customers in the country are getting this message in their notification panel.
Here is the notification message from Samsung to the customers. “Thank you for your support. Samsung Mall will be discontinued and the service will not be available after 30/06/2019”. Samsung mall was launched on January 2017 in India to sell different products and it was partnered with Amazon, TATA CliQ, Shopclues & Jabong.com as shopping partners.
This may be because most of the customers in country uses main online shopping apps of the retailers, which gives big discounts to the customers. The main moto of the app was to provide all items in one place. On many Samsung smartphones the Mall app has already pre-installed and there are nearly 10 million downloads in Play Store.
Now it looks like Samsung Mall is not doing well as company expected. There are Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal & PayTM Mall apps which delivers excellent services to the end users. Most customers prefer official apps of these online retailers so very less customers uses third-party apps like Samsung Mall to shop products online.
