Apple’s iPhone launch event is just days away, set for September 9, and a fresh leak has given us our best look yet at the new Pro models. A hands-on video has surfaced online showing demo units of the iPhone 18 Pro Max in a deep Dark Cherry shade and the standard iPhone 18 Pro in Blue. The leaked clip reportedly features real demo units rather than renders or mockups, which makes this one of the more reliable looks at the new color lineup so far.

Dark Cherry Could Be the Star of the Show
Earlier leaks had already hinted that this year’s iPhone 18 Pro series would come in three color options: Dark Cherry, Black, and Sky Blue. Dark Cherry, which some are also calling Burgundy, is being tipped as the standout or “hero” color for this generation. If Apple leans into it for marketing, expect this shade to dominate promo images and ads once the phones officially launch.
Design Stays Familiar, Camera Gets an Upgrade
On the design front, don’t expect a dramatic overhaul. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to look very similar to last year’s iPhone 17 Pro lineup, with the new colors being the most obvious change buyers will notice at first glance.
Where things get more interesting is under the hood. Rumors point to a new primary rear camera with a variable aperture, a feature that would let the camera adjust more precisely to different lighting conditions. The phones are also tipped to run on the new A20 Pro chipset, come with an upgraded modem, and pack slightly larger batteries than their predecessors.
