COROS has taken its ChatGPT and Claude integration a step further. What started as a way to let AI analyze your COROS training data can now turn AI-generated workout ideas and training plans into workouts that sync directly with the COROS ecosystem.
The COROS in its promotional image highlights the ability to send Claude and ChatGPT workouts to a COROS device. The timing is significant because COROS made workout and training-plan creation available through its AI connection on September 21, 2026.
Once a COROS account is connected to a compatible AI tool, the AI can access relevant training information and use it to create personalized workouts. For example, a runner could ask ChatGPT to build a workout based on their current fitness level, recent training, or an upcoming race.
COROS says the integration can currently create road running, trail running, and cycling workouts and training plans. Training plans can be between four and 16 weeks long. Users can also ask the AI to modify an existing workout or plan, with those changes syncing back to COROS.

The AI can also work with considerably more than basic workout history. COROS says its MCP connection can access activity records, workout feedback, GPS/FIT data, sleep, heart rate, HRV, stress, Training Load, VO2 Max, running fitness, recovery status, and other fitness information.
This makes the integration more interesting than simply asking an AI chatbot for a generic training plan. The AI can use the athlete’s actual COROS data when creating recommendations.
For COROS users, this effectively turns ChatGPT and Claude into another interface for interacting with their training data—while keeping the actual workouts inside the COROS ecosystem. Just note that this is not the free version, so to connect with your watch, you have to purchase a ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro subscription.
