Amazfit T-Rex 2 Gets Essential Features in 9.22.7.2 Update

Huami has released a new software update for its outdoor activities-focused Amazfit T-Rex 2 smartwatch. It is the first update assigned for the T-Rex 2 to come with some essential features. The identified version is 9.22.7.2 which introduced Route import, real-time navigation, and training templates feature to the Amazfit T-Rex 2 watch. These added features will make this smartwatch a true watch with outdoor capabilities.

With the first Route Import feature, users can import route files to the Zepp app from other apps like Strava or Komoot. Later, they can view it on the smartwatch for their next trip or adventure. As per Amazfit, it supports GPX/TCX/KML files to upload in the Zepp app.

The real-time navigation will let you see your routes and live location using a GPS signal. The routes which you have imported, that you can use to explore new areas. It also supports real-time navigation from a loaded map.

The latter Training template will let you create your own custom workout plans. The templates will be divided into warm-up, training, rest, and recovery stage. Users can also set reminders to send notifications to automatically change the next workout plan.

Finally, Amazfit has given a final touch-up to T-Rex 2 to improve all the settings and services. All the features are great for outdoor fitness-centric users. Users can install the 9.22.7.2 Zepp OS update from the Zepp app.

  1. The gpx file can’t update on Zepp so in the smartwatch. I did more test with many android ponesse.
